TERMS OF REFERENCE
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Education Specialist (Access and Inclusion), UNICEF Kenya Country Office, the Inclusive Education Consultant will provide time‑bound technical and practical implementation‑related support, alongside the delivery of clearly defined outputs, in support of UNICEF Kenya’s Inclusive Education and Access portfolio under Education Output 2.1.

Minimum requirements :
Advanced university degree in education, preferably inclusive education, economics, social sciences and/or international development
Work Experience:
5 years of professional experience in social or international development
Demonstrated experience in inclusive education and/or disability inclusion programming; experience in teacher education is an asset
Experience providing technical inputs to education policy, assessment, or data related processes
Experience working with communities, schools and civil society, and government counterparts
Language Requirements:
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English is required,
Knowledge of Swahili is an asset.
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills:
Strong knowledge in disability inclusion and/or inclusive education, including current developments in global education and effective strategies for improving disability-inclusive education planning and management
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
