How can you make a difference?
The purpose of this consultancy is to support MoE to design, develop, and pilot an interoperable, integrated, and digitalized school attendance and absenteeism monitoring system, while simultaneously strengthening the capacity of school, district, and provincial education personnel to effectively use the system for real-time data analysis, early identification of at-risk learners, case management, and coordinated referral to essential services. This work will support evidence-based decision-making across all levels of the education system and will be piloted in selected schools and districts in Northwestern and Luapula provinces.

Minimum requirements:
Education:
Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in digital system development, data systems design, or education technology solutions
Work Experience:
Demonstrated expertise in assessing ICT systems relevant to education, child protection and enhancing data driven programming.
Understanding of the development context in Zambia is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct interviews and engage stakeholders effectively.
Strong report writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, clear, and concise reports.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results within strict deadlines, supported by a proven track record.
