General & About Us

The Good Feat is a values-driven community and platform connecting humanitarian and development consultants with mission-driven organizations. We go beyond a simple job board: we are a support and empowerment community designed to help experts thrive.

By focusing on inclusion, integrity, and local expertise, we provide the tools and network necessary for consultants to feel backed and professionalized. Our goal is to make the aid sector fairer and more impactful through human-centered matchmaking and collective growth.

No. We are an independent platform. This independence ensures transparency and allows us to prioritize people and ethical partnerships above all else.

Ethics, Selection & Privacy

We look for professionals who combine technical skill with integrity and purpose.

1. Consultants: Generally 8-10+ years of experience (5+ for tech).

2. Coaches/Mentors: 5-10+ years of experience with recognized credentials (ICF/EMCC).

3. Diversity: We specifically encourage national experts, women, and underrepresented professionals to apply.

At The Good Feat, matchmaking is a human-centered process, not a hidden algorithm. We personally ensure that the expertise we connect with organizations—or with other consultants—aligns with our values and high professional standards.

1. For Recruiters: We help organizations find the right experts by highlighting profiles that match their specific needs. For Premium members, this means proactive visibility: we actively push your profile when we see a perfect fit for a mission.

2. Between Consultants: We facilitate connections for consortiums and joint proposals. If a large-scale project requires a multi-disciplinary team, we help you find the right partners within the community to bid together.

This process is strictly guided by our Ethical Charter, ensuring that every connection—whether for a job or a collaboration—is based on integrity, mutual respect, and shared impact.

Absolutely.

1. Privacy: Your resume is never public. It is only visible to vetted, mission-aligned recruiters.

2. Control: You can deactivate visibility or close your account at any time.

3. Compliance: We are fully GDPR-compliant, with secure servers located in Europe.

At The Good Feat, we do our best to connect you with experienced, ethical, and reliable consultants through a rigorous vetting process. However, as with any professional collaboration, outcomes can vary — and a consultancy may not always unfold as planned.

It’s important to remember that many factors can affect the success of a mission: evolving contexts, lack of clarity in scope or expectations, or constraints beyond the control of the consultant or the organization. A project that doesn’t fully meet expectations does not necessarily reflect a lack of skill or commitment.

Once candidates are selected, it is up to the hiring organization to manage the recruitment and onboarding process, clarify the scope of work, and maintain a collaborative framework. While The Good Feat facilitates the connection between talent and mission, we are not involved in contract management or project oversight, and therefore cannot take responsibility for the outcomes of the consultancy itself.

If any concerns arise during an assignment, we recommend starting with open, honest, and respectful dialogue between parties. You are also welcome to leave a rating and constructive feedback on the consultant’s profile afterward—this helps strengthen transparency and encourage continuous learning across the community.

The Good Feat uses robust security measures to protect both organizational and candidate data, in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal data is stored on secure servers located in Europe and accessible only to authorized personnel. We regularly review and update our data protection protocols to address evolving security risks and maintain strict confidentiality.

Ethical collaboration is the foundation of our community. We require all partners to strictly adhere to the principles outlined in our Ethical Charter. This mutual commitment ensures:

1. Fairness & Inclusion: Avoiding discriminatory practices and promoting diversity (gender, origin, background) at every stage of the selection process.

2. Transparency: Providing clear, honest job descriptions and realistic compensation details.

3. Integrity & Privacy: Maintaining strict confidentiality and handling all consultant data with the utmost respect and in compliance with GDPR.

4. Mutual Respect: Treating all applicants equally and providing feedback whenever possible to foster professional growth.

By joining The Good Feat, both organizations and consultants commit to this shared code of ethics to build a more trusted, accountable, and human-centered aid sector.

To ensure your organization’s recruitment process is both effective and compliant, always use official communication channels within the platform. Clearly outline job expectations, compensation, and decision timelines in your postings and communications. Whenever possible, provide candidates with feedback on their applications. Finally, make sure your team is properly trained on ethical recruitment practices and data security to uphold the highest standards throughout the process.
